Since 1990, NATO has left a trail of death and destruction with interventions in former Yugoslavia, Afghanistan, Libya and now Ukraine. NATO is responsible for fueling and arming the war in Ukraine and genocide in Gaza. As our world faces the brutality of imperialist wars, occupations, covert and overt military operations and crippling sanctions, it is through NATO that imperialist countries manage their war-mongering division of labour.
While NATO serves as a dangerous military alliance, the G7 is another club from which imperialist governments plan their domination of poor and oppressed nations. From June 15-17 the G7, made up of the US, the UK, Canada, France, Germany, Japan and Italy, is holding their summit in Kananaskis, Alberta.
